Tools for Artists

The Gesture Drawing Timer! A tool for art students - this will time 30 seconds while you draw gesture sketches. Opens in a new window.

My Art

In undergraduate art classes you produce artwork more quickly than you can scan it, so this is a sampling of what I'm experimenting with more than a portfolio. As you can see, I'm trying many materials and styles...

LONG bus ride - January 2004 (comic, ink on paper) - new window
AIEEE (a rat)! - January 2004 - Illustration (ink on paper)

Vulture - December 2003 (graphite drawing)

Peacocks - Summer 2003 (acrylic painting)
Pointilism - Summer 2003 (acrylic painting)
These two paintings both appeared in Moore College for the Spring 2004 Honors Art Show.

Gourds - painting - November 2002

Elf 2004, graphite and markers

My fantasy artwork from the past few years can be found in a gallery at Elfwood, a large website for amateur fantasy artists. I have been producing fantasy art since middle school, so the pieces here are a better example of my growth as an artist than they are a current portfolio.

I also have a site devoted to pixel artwork. It explains "dolling" and is one of my more interesting website designs in addition to featuring artwork like the pixel doll above. I've even picked up a few awards from my two-month fling with pixel dolls... this page displays them all and launches in a new window (using the ionic temple graphics from my dolling site).
