A wiggly nest of ratlings, about eight hours old! There
are actually six kittens, but one had climbed off into the
bedding. See how full their little tummies are? You can
see the milk in them...
Day 2... Poor Joanna! She's exhausted!
May 30th... Ears! Their little ears are now seperated
from their head, and we've started to see tiny whiskers.
Joanna's kept them hidden for most of today, so few pictures...
I'm still not sure about genders --- Joanna hasn't let me
examine all of them yet --- but I think that there are at
least two boys.
May 31st - five days old, and we can now clearly see
their markings. Two are completely dark (probably mis-marked
Irish patterns) and four are hooded (with big, blotchy dorsal
markings, just like their mother).
