2000 - 2001

Rose, like Mariel, was named after a Redwall character... and like her namesake, tearjerkingly short-lived. She sickened incredibly quickly one weekend and died peacefully in her sleep early in the morning of April 28th.

Rose's greatest accomplishment was diving into Mom's cereal bowl one morning and absconding with half a banana. She was amazingly pleased with herself. Besides stealing people food, Rose loved snuggling with someone who was watching television, and leaping around on Sharon's bed.
