Lots and lots of characters from role-playing games!
I mainly do online story-format roleplays. I enjoy the creative writing aspect of it. It's rare to get a chance to practice creative writing in an environment where the stuff that you produce is fleeting, but also anticipated and critiqued by others.
Elf Life Adventurers is my favorite; it spun off from the forums for the excellent online comic strip Elf Life. If you have no knowledge of either of those, you are likely to be a bit confused by some of the stuff below.
At the moment I'm returning to ELA after a hiatus of about a year and a half. A lot of stuff was going on, but to make a long story short, if you've never had a nervous breakdown, it's a barrel of fun and you should try it sometime! I blame modern society. And sunspots.
Cathy's RPG Characters
There's not a normal one in the bunch. But then, conformity is severely overrated these days.
In most cases, the page for each character contains a short biography and my favorite posts involving/defining the character. I had a lot of these saved to my computer, but you should really go read them in context if you haven't already.
The text is from stuff I had saved to my hard drive (old notes and posts) and the drawings were done one day when I was very very bored. I realized that I would die of boredom unless I took action --- my soul actually began to leave my body --- so I decided to sketch all of my RPG characters on the paper I had with me.
