Percentage Scores (continued...)
For example, change the percentage weight on one of the Core Responsibilities. Right-click on the item and choose Change Percentage of Score. You'll see a box with the percentage in it, like this:
To change the percentage, click on the arrows beside the percentage number, or highlight the numbers themselves and type over them. Then click OK.
Core Responsibilities will then be shown in red because its percentages do not add up to 100. The TIP Help Window will give a helpful explanation:
When you adjust another percentage so that the total is again 100%, the red color will turn to black.
If there is only one item in a group, TIP will automatically make that item be 100%.
Finally, note that only the first 2 levels of tree structure can have percentage weights. Lower-level items cannot.
